Daily Orchestra rehearsals will usually take place in the Rehearsal Room (8.211), but may also take place elsewhere. Access to the Rehearsal Room will be available every morning. The room will also be open in the afternoon so instruments can be taken home for personal practice. No student is allowed to be in any rehearsal space unless a teacher is present. If the instrument rooms are locked and the director is not available, you may ask another teacher to gain access to the room. Be aware that items left in the instrument rooms and the rehearsal spaces are not secure and the school does not insure private property. A personal insurance policy for each student’s instrument is encouraged. The director, the school, or county cannot be held liable for missing personal equipment or property.
