As part of an ensemble it is the responsibility of each student to prepare music outside of class. Consider at home practice a standing homework assignment. If you are not practicing, it will be readily evident through the periodic playing tests. Failure to be prepared could result in not being allowed to participate in a concert, and another significant assignment would be given in its place. The amount of time and effort you put into your private practice will affect the sound and attitude of the whole class. Do yourself and your ensemble a big favor…PRACTICE!
